Jio Gives 2GB Exra Data for Prepaid Users

Reliance Jio has been actively offering offers to users since the government announced a lockdown in India. The company has already announced a number of offers and benefits for both prepaid and broadband customers. Reports say the operator is now offering 2GB of additional data along with prepaid plans

As a complimentary offer, Jio 2GB offers additional data benefit. The Jio Data Pack will be valid until April 1, 2020, at no additional cost. The newly launched offer comes with free calling benefits. The company has already started crediting data to all its customers. Many users have reported that they have received the data through their Twitter account.

However, the speed limit will be reduced to 64 kbps after the data limit. If any of you are missing out on additional data, you should check out the My Plans section of the My Geo app. It is important to note that this plan is available to all customers. The plan is similar to the company's Jio-Celebration Pack.

Jio has come up with a new service in addition to free data. Here, users can recharge their numbers from nearby ATMs. Jio has entered into an agreement with nine banks to arrange for recharge from 90,000 ATMs. This is a much bigger undertaking than any telecom operator in India. Jio is trying to meet the needs of its customers during the lockdown.

The company has also released broadband plans for users during the lockdown period. Here the company is offering 100GB of data at 10 Mbps speeds. Along with this, Jio has also launched a prepaid plan of Rs 251. The plan is to provide 2GB of data per day for 51 days.

Other network carriers, such as Airtel and Vodafone, have also launched a number of initiatives to benefit users. It should be noted that Vodafone also offers double data along with newly launched prepaid plans. Vodafone plans now offer up to 3GB of data, with 1.5GB of data.
